As global climate change continues to emerge as one of the great challenges for modern society, it has become clear that the way we view our business needs to change as well as new "green" ways of thinking becoming more of a priority.

Key to this change is the reduction of CO2 emissions worldwide, and like all businesses, we have a crucial role to play. Our guests are increasingly focused on environmental concerns, and public confirmation of our commitment through events such as Earth Hour are important to our guests and to our associates.

At 8:30pm on the 23rd of March Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa will join the world and switch off for a brighter future. The exterior lights will be switched off and so will all lights in the administration areas. Lobby lights will be switched off.

Our guests are encouraged to show their support by switching off or dimming the lights in their rooms and balconies. Complimentary non alcoholic shooters will be served in the main lobby. Shades will be selling 'Earth Hour' green cocktails. In addtion Brasserie will  serve up a Earth Hour themed dinner buffet in dimmed lights.
